Review Paper: Bacchus and Ariadne - This paper analyzes Antoine-Jean Gros' Bacchus and Ariadne (1821), exploring its blend of Neoclassical composition and Romantic emotion, and how the painting reflects Gros' evolving artistic style and the varied interpretations of the mythological story. (2024) Analysis and Observation: The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center - This paper examines the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center's educational approach to African American history, focusing on its A Slave Pen Journey exhibit and its commitment to presenting unfiltered historical narratives to inspire dialogue and social change. (2020) Women in Renaissance; Art and Artist – This exhibit proposal focuses on the representation and role of women in Renaissance art, showcasing both the works of female artists and women as subjects in art. Through a curated selection of pieces from the Renaissance period, including works by Sofonisba Anguissola, Lavinia Fontana, and Plautilla Nelli, the exhibit will explore the challenges and societal constraints that female artists faced, as well as the complexities surrounding the depiction of women in art during this era.
